To me the best reciever on the market other than moss. He is only 6'0 ft. But he has some of the best leaping ability Ive seen. Out of every player we have talked about, Id say he would be the most realistic FA to pick up. Hes an average size but he is one of the best jumpers in the NFL. Hes young and a very good player. Heres some videos of him. http://video.google.com/url?docid=-4018955016691137492&esrc=sr4&ev=v&len=17&q=brandon%2Blloyd&srcurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.zippyvideos.com%2F2981949802936676%2Fcatch%2F&vidurl=%2Fvideoplay%3Fdocid%3D-4018955016691137492%26q%3Dbrandon%2Blloyd%26total%3D87%26start%3D0%26num%3D10%26so%3D0%26type%3Dsearch%26plindex%3D3&usg=AL29H22TyiiYjz4rg9aG2JFGS2Pt-0UQZA

He never had a true QB. His best years where in SF where he was a number 1 reciever and then came to Washington with a bad QB and had to play behind Randell El and Moss. Then you have Cooley.

When, oh when, will some people on this board get over physical attributes and just start to consider why players get dumped????

"Stastically, he was called the worst starting WR in the history of the Super Bowl era."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brandon_Lloyd

The classic definition of BUST is a physically gifted player who's not right in the head. But year after year after year after year, teams and fans drool over the physical even after busts underachieve. Definition of insanity ...........

He can run a fade route and go up to get it. He can be had on the cheap and still has upside left. Worth a look. Do I think he's the solution to our WR problem? No. He's just worth a look.
Yeah, he hasn't produced as much as he should, but he may benefit as a #2 to Evans.
This doesn't prevent us from taking one early in the draft either.

Bring him in for cheap. I've watched him a couple of times and he has really impressed me. He has attitude which I think WR's need and he also has Terrell Owens like physical ability. While he may not be as good of a reciever as TO, when he first started out many people thought that this guy would surplant him. Well, Lloyd surplanted TO and he never lived up to the billing in San Fran and he eventually got dumped. Bring this guy in and draft another WR in the 3rd round to compete with him. If we don't chose to go WR with our first 2 picks, I like a guy like Adarius Bowman or Lavelle Hawkins in the late 3rd to early 4th round.

I'll pass! Not interested in replacing a sub-standard WR (Price) with another sub-standard WR in Lloyd

The single best way ive seen it put. Lloyd is junk.

REDSKINS LOP LLOYD by Michael David Smith
The Washington Redskins have released wide receiver Brandon Lloyd, the team announced on its web site (http://www.redskins.com/news/newsDetail.jsp?id=34639).

As Gary Fitzgerald accurately writes at Redskins.com, Lloyd's two-year stint with the Redskins was a major disappointment after the Redskins traded two draft picks to the 49ers to acquire Lloyd and signed him to a new contract with $10 million guaranteed.

For that investment, the Redskins got 23 catches for 365 yards in 2006 and two catches for 14 yards in 2007. He never caught a touchdown pass as a Redskin.

Lloyd was a starter for Week 1 of the 2007 season but was demoted to a reserve role after that. He suffered a season-ending shoulder injury in a November practice.

The classic example of why trading for so-called established players is full of risks and pitfalls.

The Redskins should have wondered why the 49ers were prepared to part with a guy at whose position they were seriously depleted.

If you are struggling to find WR, you don't trade your No1 guy unless something is amiss .... if you are getting run all over, wanting to trade your leading DT, should raise all manner of warning alarms !!!

Why would you bring in a guy with such a complete record of failure?

I don't know how much the local news travels, but I'm sure others in the DC area can back me up on this one. Brandon Lloyd was ALWAYS in the dog house down here. Missing practice, meetings, tardiness, etc. Nothing crazy, but a lot of little things kept him off the field. There were games he suited up for, but never got in. The local talk radio was always talking about it during the season.
