    Rosevelt Colvin

Rosevelt Colvin might not be a bad pickup considering that he played for Jauron with the Bears in a cover 2. If he dont demand too much money and can stay healthy he would be a good experienced linebacker to have.

At a discount price with some play based contract incentives yes he would be a good pick up.

but a bidding war with any other team I'd say no way

I think he might start ahead of Ellison, but I wouldn't overpay for him, either.

He has the age and injury things going against him.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

I think anyone can start over Ellison.

I wouldn't mind taking a look at Colvin, but I doubt he would play for Buffalo seeing he is pretty much used to winning.

No thanks. His best years are already behind him and BB will know how to exploit his weaknesses.

he's pretty big and slow for our team.

Doesn't Colvin play the same position as Crowell?

Yes, they both have played primarily on the weakside, not over the TE.

Not a good fit for our defense, he is way too slow! It would be okay if we picked him up, but thats just my point, I don't want just okay! With another solid LB we could have one of the best LB troupes in the league.

                      I wouldn't do it. Up there in years+injury prone+Pat's castoff=me no wanty

(especially because of the Patsie castoff part, how have the last couple of ex-Patsies done for us?)

Jauron didn't run no tampa2 with the Bears! Lovie Smith ran the Tampa2 when he started and only kept the players that fit the scheme!
