Will Campbell Flourish in the West?

I think his defensive shortcomings will be more apparent than ever in a conference which is much more physical with teams like like the Ducks, Redwings, etc. Afterall, he isn't the most physical player. I know he layed out a few big hits here and there but they were selective hits. He never was all that strong along the boards. Time will tell I guess.

I don't think it was a coincidence that Campbell flourished once the rules change after the lockout. He is betterwhen he has room to skate. Time will tell if he will succeed but IMO I think his production will drop a little. He will not do any better than what he did in Buffalo's system.

I agree with the decline in play, but he will be OK.

He will be fine. He is a solid player.
