Re: Lorenzo Neal Anyone?
at 37 he's still a top 3 FB in this league. **** YaI remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

Re: Lorenzo Neal Anyone?
The Chargers are trying to trade FB Lorenzo Neal. Neal had requested a release, knowing that he doesn't have a big role in Norv Turner's offense, but the team refused. They will try to trade him, but it will be tough to find a anything better than a late-round pick for a 37-year-old coming off a broken leg."It is better to be divided by truth than to be united by error." -- Martin Luther

No thanks, i'll pass on a Sam Gash clone... Lynch & Jackson are A-ok outta singleback.. With that in mind Mitch, i mean i assume you know/knew they ran well singleback, why owould you want a mauling FB? If & i mean a big IF we do upgrade FB then imo it's gotta be a player who has some route running exp. Since Edwards is a beast at short yardage dumps...
So NO Neal doesn't exactly fit in here at all... Maybe with Henry..
