KELLY DEAL WRECKING DT MARKET: Al Davis has to be off his rocker! He just gave Tommy Kelly a 7-year $50M deal with over $18M guaranteed. Tommy Kelly! I mean he's a good player, but he's not a $50M dollar player. He's not the best DT in football! What are free agents like Randy Starks going to ask for now? $60 million?! How about the franchised DTs like Haynesworth and Corey Williams, $75M?! Talk about wrecking the market for DTs. Not a good thing at all.
What makes it worse is Oakland is in a position in the draft to get one of the top two defensive tackles in Dorsey or Ellis. $50 million. Unbelievable.

He's right. Looks like we're drafting a DT for sure now, unless we can trade for a good DT ALREADY Under contract. AT their current salaries, they would be a BARGAIN. BTW, STroud is a Rosenhaus client so cross him off.
