Wilford in Buffalo acording to Jag reporter Pete Prisco!

Bills could go after Jacksonville's Wilford

The Buffalo News reports the Buffalo Bills are about $26 million under the NFL's salary cap and their first move could be to try and sign Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Ernest Wilford.

Wilford exhibits all the qualities the Bills need at the position — size, strength, experience and a track record of production. Wilford, 29, caught 45 passes for 518 yards in a run-oriented attack last season. He is 6-foot-4, 212 pounds. If the Bills cannot land him, there are other options at receiver, including Chicago's Bernard Berrian, Arizona's Bryant Johnson, Seattle's D.J. Hackett and Miami's Marty Booker, among others.

              The good news:
              He's obvoiusly a legit #2 WR.

              The Bad News:
My mind is on this DEFENSE and STroud and Briggs right now. I want them first. I dont see any way we are getting all three guys.. Hell,I will join the Ralph Wilson fan club if we do.

              The Reality:
I think Briggs is still a pipe dream. But give me STroud and Wilford and that's still VERY GOOD.

$26 million under the cap only? On NFLN this morning, they showed the Bills were the 4th best team with mid 30s...

Buffalo News doesn't know anything about cap adjustments

Since when has Wilford EVER shown anything close to the production to be described as a legit No2.

If we think he's a legit No2, then we will never make the playoffs again

Wilford is certainly unproven as an "answer," but he's never had a Lee Evans caliber on the other side. And vice-versa .... it could be good for both of them.

you talk a lot of **** about these players. And then you lose ANY CREDIBILITY YOU MIGHT HAVE by pushing on us ****ing idiots like Ted Lehman, Boss Bailey and best of all, Randy STarks. LOL

Get real dude. We'll make the playoffs by signing those bums, and trading completely out of the first round and drafting a bunch of projects. uh huh
