The Buffalo News reports the Buffalo Bills are about $26 million under the NFL's salary cap and their first move could be to try and sign Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Ernest Wilford.
Wilford exhibits all the qualities the Bills need at the position — size, strength, experience and a track record of production. Wilford, 29, caught 45 passes for 518 yards in a run-oriented attack last season. He is 6-foot-4, 212 pounds. If the Bills cannot land him, there are other options at receiver, including Chicago's Bernard Berrian, Arizona's Bryant Johnson, Seattle's D.J. Hackett and Miami's Marty Booker, among others.
