Ernest Wilford's two biggest suitors appear to be the Dolphins and the Bills.
The Bills are looking for a big and physical receiver to line up opposite Lee Evans, and the Dolphins likely want the same for Ted Ginn

Fins are years away from fielding a .500 team, we are years ahead. I personally think that based on similiar money on the table, he rides with us.

Screw Wilford, I want Porter. He and Evans together would be nasty.

God, I hope Wilford signs with the fins.
He's not that good, and in this market, will get a lot of money.

That sucks. Mark my words, Porter will blow up when put into a good system.

He's a big target with good hands from what I've heard, The Fins could use a veteran WR.

They should trade for Chris Chambers.

Are we losing the battle? From Chris Brown's blog:
DOLPHINS MOVING IN ON WILFORD: Looks like Miami is hot after WR Ernest Wilford according to the Sun-Sentinel (http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/football/pro/dolphins/sfl-0229dolphins,0,2693150.story). He along with OLB Calvin Pace and DT Randy Starks are talking with the Dolphins. Starks is arguably the best free agent DT on the market.

and why would Wilford want to sign with a 1-15 loser with a QB not fit for college?

That's what I am thinking.

You're assuming winning instead of money is the deciding factor.

I know...how dumb of me...
apparently he has made his decision to sign with miami
so we signed Wilford, Starks, Smiley, Torbor and that TE ryan from the jets on day 1 and traded for jason ferguson from the cowboys, not a bad 1st day if you ask me, calvin pace and charlie anderson could be the next 2 to sign

yep, bad news indeed...
And the Miami Herald is reporting that the Dolphins have agreed to terms with free agent wide receiver (http://www.miamiherald.com/breaking_sports/story/439099.html) Ernest Wilford, previously of the Jaguars.
I want B. Johnson more anyways.

Why do you say wanted? Hes still out there far as I know.
Truth is Johnson can be had fairly cheap and wont preclude us from drafting a WR. I like that move too.
I hope we get Hackett. I wanted him more anyway.

I used to have a high opinion of Wilford, but he never reached the productivity that I thought he could. He had a good QB and didn't do much this past year. I see more of the same in his near future. I'm actually glad we didn't sign him.

Maybe we will make a move for Byrant Johnson now, or Jevon Walker. The Broncos have officially released him. Who knows? Just give me a big WR and I will be happy! The draft another one and I will be even happier.

Thats bad news. Wilford easily upgrades their Qb position . He's better than Beck.
