    What Would You Think Of This?

    How would you feel if, on Monday morning, the Bills had made moves to acquire the following players:

    K.Mitchell, OLB
    B.Troupe, TE
    M.Stroud, DT
    D.Florence, CB and/or E.Wilford, WR

    Now, I know it's not:

    L.Briggs, LB
    A.Crumpler, TE
    C.Williams, DT
    A.Samuel, CB
    R.Moss, WR

    And, God knows, the top group would come a helluva lot cheaper than the second group.

    But, would you be happy with that first group of moves?

    If that was what the Bills front office ended up doing, what would your opinion of them and R.Wilson be?

    Inquiring minds want to know!

      I dont want Florence, we NEED a #2 WR.

      But if you gave me Mitchell, Troupe, Wilford/Hackett and ESPECIALLY Stroud, I would be VERY very satisfied with our FA process.

      We would then take a CB with the 11th pick maybe that Cromartie-Rodgers that DraftBoy has a hard on for.

      Anybody, long as its not someone that Kern wants :)

        I'd be happy w/that first group, though I have questions about B.Troupe. The CB/WR alternatives are good, since whichever is not addressed in FA should have a decent prospect sitting at #11.

          yes, uncontrollably happy..i mean we've already signed mitchell and im happy about it..aslong as we stay with it and keep signing the people we need, if we got those top guys id be extremely satisfied with how handled FA..which makes the draft alot easier for us. =)

              I'd be estatic.

              Mitchell is a great OLB, and gives us a solid trio back there.

              Troupe is an upgrade over any of our TE's, and his blocking is what we'd want him for.

              Stroud is one of the most underrated DT's in the league, and will instantly solidify our D Line, which is great since our LB's were already solidified in the same day.

              I'd personally rather get Florence than Wilford, and draft Kelly at 11. Florence would give us another solid corner, who actually has some size.

                Id be happy with:

                Mitchell
                Stroud

                Then draft DRC, Brandon Flowers, or Talib
                Also draft Kelly, Sweed, or Hardy
                and draft Bennett, Finley, or Keller

                  I'd be thrilled, on the condition that we definitely sign a WR. I don't want to go into the draft without picking one up in FA, and if we do it will be somewhat disappointing.

                        Im not a fan of Troupe. the guy couldnt produce in a passing game with a QB that loves to check down. So Im just not that sold on him.
                        I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
                        "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
                        You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
                        It was all                         true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
                        He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can                         mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

                            Neither was Mike Vick but Crumpler was able to step it up.
