I Wonder If Vilma Deal Will Impact Bills-Jax Stroud Deal

ESPN is reporting that the NY Jets will be getting a conditional 4th Round pick--that can become a 3rd Round pick--in 2009 from the Saints for Jonathan Vilma.

I wonder if this will impact what the Bills might have to give up to get M.Stroud from Jacksonville.

If the Bills only had to give up this much to get Stroud, I think it would be a great deal if the Bills' MDs believe that Stroud will be healthy enough. With K.Mitchell, a healthy Stroud and if everyone else on the Bills defense can stay reasonably healthy, I think that the Bills would end up giving up a much less attractive pick--even if they had to give up a 3rd rounder--than they would be giving up in this year's draft.

The Jenkins deal is reportedly for a third and a fifth, though, and I think that may be a better gauge for Stroud.

I'd be surprised if Jax gave him up without getting a pick in this year's draft.
