Would any of you guys be upset if we gave our #11 for Stroud plus their 1st and 3rd.

That looks like, without doing the math, about 450 draft points.

Good idea. But stop making these posts because every time in the history of buffalo that we posted a idea, IT NEVER CAME TRUE. So next time you have a great idea. Keep it to your self.

Why would the jags do that? It's about a 450 draft point swing in favor of Jax... That's equivalent to pick #45 which is what they're asking.

#11 = 1250
#26 = -700
#90 = -140
Total = 410 jags advantage = #49... mid round 2.

ah. I have a hard time seeing the jags get more then both rogers and jenkins.

Both were had for a 3 and a 5th.

Yes but we'd have Stroud plus 4 picks in the top 100... Which we need to fill our need... 5 needs met including Stroud.

Dont like it.

Getting Stroud would grade this offseason an A+ (so long as he's healthy)
Plus Mitchell solidifies our LB corps...
Our front 7 would be pretty respectable... (though an upgrade at DE would be nice).

In ancyase I dont like the idea for 2 reasons:
We have enough day1 picks... that #11 pick needs to be used on a high impact player. Forget about loading our team with average players, -we've got enough of those guys.
I say the #11 pick be used on a CB now (we're looking less like a tampa2/cover2 defense). McGee's not a #1 (I actually think he's best suited as a nickel, -but that's a whole different thread).

and secondly, there's no way in hell we should be giving up more for Stroud than what others have done to get Jenkins, Rogers, or Corey Williams.

Not a bad idea. It is close. We would actually get more picks, and before the combine, I would have been all for it. I want DRC.
