I could see a trade with Detroit. JP for a fourth. Roy is a franchise WR, no way we get him. Pipe dream.

I'd love the frick right outa that. my goodness. Lee evans and roy williams would be the league's premeir WR combo. bigger than boldin and fitzy. We'd have absolutely no reason for sucking if we got Roy. espescially after ther signings we had today.

Not sure how many of you heard this but WGRs Nick Mendola said this afternoon that the Bills are still talking with Detriot regarding a possible trade.
He said he got this from private sourses.....

Mandola said they have never stopped talking about a deal.

This could be one of those deals that flies under the radar and we all gave up on it weeks ago..

I have a feeling a deal may be struck on this one....

I guess Detriot has some interest in J.P. Losman too!

Have you heard anything about this today, I am surprised nobody posted anything.

The speculation is that the trade is for Roy Williams.

As many know, He is one of my favorite players in the whole league and a top 3 WR in this league IMO.

I dont feel like this one is solid... But who knows

LOL. Gotta love the way rumors ignite and morph. That thread was a prime of example of such. The original poster merely stated that "...Bills are still talking with Detriot regarding a possible trade...".
No mention whatsoever about Williams.
A few posts later it was all about Roy.

how could a move like this no excite everyone. I know some of your guys think he's always injured, but it would be so worth it. I think it would give us a top 3 Wr tandem in the nfl

if stroud wasn't that expensive, and it looks like he wasn't, and the other guys weren't that much, they we might have enough cash to cap left for evans extension AND roy williams (like 35-40 total, call it 15 and 20 or whatever).

that would give us

roy williams
lee evans
stroud
other DT
mitchell

and cash in the future to extend peters, lynch, poz, mccargo, edwards, crow, etc.

oh, and throw in 8 picks (assuming we trade one for williams and get one for jp).

that's got to be the biggest upgrade (along w rooks and young guys getting better) the bills franchise has ever had.
