All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Why would that mean that? Doesn't make sense to me. How would that affect Evans in anyway? I say see if we can dangle Losman and a pick like a 3rd or 4th rounder at detroit and see if we can pry away Roy Williams.
If not sign Johnson, Keep Evans, and draft Sweed........... Either way we need to keep Evans.
He has no inside information any more; John Clayton does, and if Clayton said that, it'd have legs; it sounds completely like his own theory that he's proliferating for whatever reason. They're going to trade him just because he's going into the last year on his contract? There would have to be other reasons than that; it is possibly to extend or re-sign him, Mort...
what?
Evans is under contract- we're not trying to replace him, we're trying to give the O another option so they can't key on him.
If we get Johnson then trade Evans, we're actually worse off- we'd still only have 1 legit WR threat in Johnson and he's not even as good as Evans.
There is a good chance that we won't be able to re-sign Evans, but that's 2 years away. Make the guy play out his contract. It works to his advantage too, because he had a bit of a slump last year and he'll make more money if he can up his stats before doing a new contract (with Buffalo or someone else).
