Amherst, NY (WGR 550)- Lindy Ruff road his team hard at the Pepsi Center for about 45 minutes. Tim Connolly and Toni Lydman did not practice. Mike Ryan and Jochen Hecht are both still out. Lydman has back spasms which put Jason Pominville back on defense which he does every season for a practice or two.

The Sabres host Detroit in the Marina tomorrow. Brian Koziol gets you started with the pregame at 5:00.

I don't even know what he means by this road his team, and Marina the Arena hasn't been called the Marina since HSBC Bank merged with Marine Midland Bank.

I used to be the Marine Midland Arena named after the bank, but then MMB was bought/renamed to HSBC Bank and now it is the HSBC Arena. Formerly, under the old title, people used to call it the Marina.
