    Alan Faneca

has reported yesterday that he decided not to visit any team. Instead he'd just take the highest offer from all the teams that are interested in his service.

And true to that report, Jets gave him the highest offer and he signed it.

No wonder the Steelers never even bothered, even though Faneca made a softer tone at the end of the season.

He was pretty expensive ... I think the contract was 4 years for 32 million.

8 million per season is more than we paid Dockery...

The point is this guy right now cares about money and money only.

He wants no interview, checks out nothing about the new team, the city, the people, etc. Who pays me the most is where I go?

In a way he's being very honest and to the point.

It was obvious. When he saw what guards were getting paid last year he said he wanted a raise. Pittsburgh said no. He said I'm outta here after this year and he went.

Stroud is going to eat Faneca for breakfast and Faneca knows that.
