What's up with Briggs? That guy has an incredible knack at whining, saying he's going to do one thing, then does the exact opposite.

For being such a heralded LB leading up to FA, he really wasn't making many headlines the last couple of days.

Honestly, I'm more happy with Mitchell. I'm really glad that we won't ever hear another plea to bring in Briggs again.

LOL wow I expected way more.

He didnt gain much interest because of the perception that hes a system guy. Playing behind a great line and next to the best MLB in football probably helps.

Isn't that the same offer he got from the Bears 2 years ago?

I never expected the bills to go out and sign him anyway.

That is a heck of a lot lower then I thaught it would be. I have to say that I never really believed that he would be here anyways. There was very little talk about him the last two days, which suprised me as well. O well, I am more then happy with Mitchell.

To be honest it's lower than I thought it might be too. Seems strange that no other team would be willing to match that which may say a lot about his reputation around the league. Maybe he whined himself out of consideration.

Wow! That is a very fair contract price. I would have had no problem if the Bills chose to pay that for him. But I am still fine with Mitchell.

Too bad Briggs had to sign with the Bears.

I was looking forward to having this same discussion next year.

"Bring Briggs in."

"Sign Briggs."

blah, blah, blah.

Briggs, Briggs, Briggs...year in, year out....

OK

Now I feel better.
