Our defense is now screwed. They havent played a good game yet and our offense is still stuck in neutral.

This season is basically over, we're playing like crap and with Campbell gone, our defense is missing a big piece.

Way to go, Regier..

this team turned into a bunch of Kotaliks and Kahlinen's over night

too bad Brenier can't play O either.

He overskated at least 3 plays, including one that led to Detroit's first goal. He needs to be more in control and not take himself out of the play.

It sure would have been nice if they replaced Campbell with one of the available Defenseman available via trade. :sigh:

I'm sure they tried to pick up another d-man. It's not as simple as just doing things. This isn't a video game.

I wouldn't say that they "played" them cause that would mean they competed. They did show up in uniform but that is about it.

We've played and pretty much lost against all the teams ahead of us in the past week or so.

It's not looking good. This seems like a very emotionally fragile team. They certainly aren't playing like theyre on the verge of being out of playoff contention.

Do you think it's because they've had it relatively easy with not being leaders but for the most part followers and now that all the leaders are gone, no one is feeling responsible or no one is taking responsibility except the guys who no one should expect much from. (mair, kaleta, etc...) It seems like the guys who SHOULD be the leaders and should be leading by example are not at all.

Great post.

This team has no leadership (it sure seems that way). It doesn't look like they learned a damn thing from Drury even though they swore up and down that they did.

They leaders on this team shouldn't be your Mair's and Kaleta's...should be your Vaneks, Roys, and Pominville and to me it doesn't seem they are. just because you put a letter on a guys sweater doesn't mean you know how to lead. Pominville's goal should have never counted last night. There should have been at least 2 penalties in that scrum.

Soupy was good, but 85+% of the goals were a result of his soft play...
