Free agent Bryant Johnson revealed Monday that he has a meeting scheduled with the Redskins. It sounds like no visit with the Bears has been set up, despite multiple reports coming out of Chicago. Johnson is still at the Bills' facility and they could put on a full-court press to make sure he doesn't leave Buffalo.

He probably just made an extra couple of million $$$ in guaranteed contract money (if he signs with us) just by saying he has a scheduled trip to DC coming up... cant fault him for saying that

BTW, if we really are doing everything to get him to stay here and not think about washington...they better give him a contract offer and start out at a fair price. Dont lowball him.

I think by signing him u bring in someone who is a sure upgrade of REED and Price, that means offense will improve and at 26, and Lee being 26 they would all grow together, with young TE

I think Johnson is better than Reed and an upgrade but I do not think he is worth the 5-6MM he is asking. One of two things will happen IMO. The Bills do think he is worth it and will over pay or he will move on to Washington and the Redskins we all know will overpay for anybody's services. I think factoring in what he has proven in his 5 years he should be paid no more than 4MM a year.
