All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

They might have spent alot, but ... I'd have to give it up to them. They certainly are the most improved team on paper in the NFL. Plus ... they still have a top draft pick to use.
(I say that and still think they wasted WAAAAYYY too much money. That Pace contract is obscene, and so is the money they put on Woody.)

I think the Jets got some good players however I think they overspent on all of them. You keep overspending like that and you end up like the Redskins and have decent but not championship caliber team.

I think Edwards has potential and would take him over Clemens, but Chad Pennington is better than Losman. Pennington has shown he can actually win games in the NFL.
I don't think either team is "set" at QB. They both have questions.

I think the Jets now have the best Oline in the division, between last year and this they have made some real solid additions. I think the Jets are by far the biggest winners in FA. I think the Pats are the biggest losers in FA. However, they can afford to be. Everyone in the division has made changes, we'll see who made the best decisions later this year.

They haven't gotten better?
How is their OL line not a TON better with Faneca, one of the elite guards in football? THey also signed Damien Woody today.
Pace may not be Briggs, but he's a big upgrade for them and fits a 3-4 perfectly.... And last but not least, Jenkins.. He's the SAME kind of DT, in fact near situation as Stroud too.
They've improved, just like Buffalo and Miami thus far.

I said they arent that much better than us. Yet, they spent a ton more. They also lost or look to lose alot. Erik Coleman-gone, Dewayne Robertson- most likely gone, Johnathan Vilma- gone
Faneca is a great signing for anyone, but they dont have a stud RB and also have a questionable QB. Jenkins may be an upgrade, Robertson is a good player.
They spent a bizzilion including 8 mill per for Calvin Pace? and havent done that much more than we have.
