All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
The bills will take a CB in the first round of the draft...

Just the way it is breaking down I don't think Greer has enough to be the starter...great nickel guy. I think them letting Thomas go also indicates the plans.
CB in the first round.
For all the education and practice each of us undergoes, the achievment of mastery is ultimately the outcome of a personal quest for understanding.
Re: The bills will take a CB in the first round of the draft...
I think it all depends on if we land Johnson or not...if we do, it will be Talib or McKelvin. I do like DRC though...but I don't think he is better than the previous two
Re: The bills will take a CB in the first round of the draft...
The thing abot the DB position there are a lot of great DBs available in round 1. If they like a few different ones and they are available at #1 they could trade down a few spots.

No with our first pick, and not at the spot numero 11!

Re: The bills will take a CB in the first round of the draft...
I'm back to liking Malcolm Kelley in the first, a CB in the second, and a TE in the third. Regardless of whether we sign Bryant Johnson.
But I may change tomorrow.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

CB in the first round.
As of right now, we dont have a #2 WR so to call this definitively at this point is premature.
Re: The bills will take a CB in the first round of the draft...
I wouldnt jump to that conclusion; EVEN if we land a good FA WR. I could still see them taking Kelly or Sweed at #11, or maybe even trading down and going after the TE Davis.
I think McGee and Greer will be better with a BETTER front seven.. CB will DEFINITELY be addressed in the draft, but not necessarily in round one. Now of course, maybe some CB blows them away and we don't know about it.
But overall, I think we could still go WR just as easily as CB.. Or like I said, trade down for a TE, or perhaps even a top rated center or guard. Lots of possibilities and the more decent guys we sign now, the more things we can do on draft day.
