Both Ko and Whitner are young. Experience in the backfield would be needed if we're making a puch for the playoffs. Although Leonard and Wilson had their good plays , they weren't consistent enough.

Dont read too much into it, Didnt we bring donovan darius into town in FA last year? This teams been looking for a vet in the defensive backfeild ever sence Clements headed for the west coast.

No way Whitner goes to corner. If he got cut and there isn't a lot of interest, it would be great to get a veteran safety for depth and tutelage. Our starters are young.

I'm curious as to what that signing means about our plans for the secondary. That said, If we have money left and see value in signing a McCree for experience sake, it doesn't bother me. At this point, while I'd like to see Bryant Johnson and maybe Ben Troupe land here, there isn't really anyone left in free agency that I'm drooling over and want to see us save money for.
