I am looking for the following...

1. A solid defensive showing against the run.
2. Some pass rush on Manning.
3. Winfield or Clements on Harrison.
4. Travis to have another good day.
5. Improvement out of rookies like Denney.
6. Bledsoe to have a consistent performance again.

Unfortunately, since one of our starting DL won't be playing (Chidi) and another will only be playing on a few days practice (Price), I don't expect, nor need to see, much improvement from our DL. Unfortunately, it looks like week 1 is the only time we're gonna find out if they can hack it or not.

I'm looking for the DL to actually look like an NFL capable DL.

Also, this should be our first real test against any D that may be halfway decent this year, especially when you consider that Indy's O will better than balance their D.

Henry needs to run again. If he goes into another 5 carries for 8 yard effort, I won't remain all that impressed about last week's showing against what figures to be among the worst rush-Ds in the league again this year.

STs has been good.

I guess if I had one wish for this game, it would be that one player on the DL besides Williams steps up and says "I'm here"!

Chances of that happening are about the same as getting snow for the game! :D

Looking at your list, BillsMan80, I'll be looking at #s 1,2 and 5. I'm not worrying at all about #s 3, 4 , and 6.

I want to see people focused on their jobs. The biggest challenge to this team right now is people are not doing their jobs. Let's get it done all around and look like a cohesive unit then we can worry about being able to make the plays that will win us games.

I agree with Henry.

My prayer:

O Lord, please protect our knees.

Amen.
