well before last nights game it looked like it would most likely take ten wins out of the remaining sixteen to make the playoffs

they might be able to do it with just nine of the sixteen but that would leave them pretty razor thin considering you would expect either the rags or phillthy to do at least that and the bruins had a game in hand

so ten wins was sorta the magic number. last nights win now makes that number nine

so in true sesame street fashion lets all count down the wins until the sabres hopefully make the playoffs
