Per the crawl on ESPN News, the Falcons release Joey Harrington. I guess Matt Ryan will be their pick in the NFL draft at # 3.

this just in: al davis has signed joey harrington to a multi year deal. 7 years 102 million, 40 guarenteed. -

Behind a decent Offensive Line and with a few weapons on a stable team, I think he could be a very attractive back up for Trent, someone who can push him, and step in if he gets injured. I think they are similar types of QBs.
Phil Simms and Dan Marino reckons he's had a bum deal - Detroit, Miami and Atlanta are hardly the most stable environments.
I think Jauron was in Detroit when Harrington was and it'll be interesting to see what he made of him, especially if Losman is moved.Comment
