You never know, Ally. They could go farther. The Caps don't really bother me. The players are never in the media for doing stupid things, like some of Washington's other professional teams. I kinda like them, although I'm not crazy about their uniform.

How do you guys know I didn't actually watch the game last night?

For your information, I watched the end of the third period. And, I saw three fights happen in the last seconds of the game. I also watched half the Leafs game on Wednesday night! And, I plan on watching the third period of a game tonight. So there! I really do watch sports on TV.

I also much interject that I know several females who have more hockey players stats in thier head going further back in time than I do (and they understand what the stats mean). So that whole "girls don't know sports" thing may be the general rule, but there are a good number of exceptions out there. ;-)

just a note about the caps (and teams that people from Buffalo like/don't like respect/don't respect)... I live down in the DC area and made it to both of the Sabres/Caps games....

I can't stand the fans here!!! I mean, you know tru hockey fans when you see them, and they aren't here. sure, there are a few but the way I judge a team is by their fans. I mean, coming from Buffalo, I hate the Bruins, the Flyers, and the Stars, but I respect the first two because their fans know hockey.....

Caps fans don't know hockey (but then again, I'm sure Lighting fans don't know hockey either)

Thanks, WereRat! Honestly, I don't know much about hockey at all. But, I'm sure BironsGirl, Ally and MissB could give the guys here a run for their money. Those girls are true hockey fans who know their stuff. I'm just learning. :)
