Even the Caps announcers said that Ovechkin committed a penalty before the go-ahead goal, and then that horse-**** no goal towards the end....

in two nights, two missed penalty calls gave the other team the go ahead goal and resulted in our best defenseman being injured.

If Connolly plays, the PP is more productive and if Tallinder plays Washington doesn't get all those breakaways.

I knew it went in, but obviously had no idea of the whistle blowing.

That part is hard to tell from the other end of the rink.

What pissed me off was they only showed the replay once on the jumbotron and instead showed crowd shots of people acting like idiots. I finally saw the replay on a TV that was behind me and told the guy next to me it was a goal.

Further pissing me off was the biggest jackass in the arena that sat in front of me.

First it was Clump sitting next to me.

The guy in front of me did not shut up for more than 30 seconds. He "coached" the entire time. When the Sabres were skating with the puck he was screaming for them to hit somebody. Max broke in on Kolzig and he screamed for somebody to skate to the net, when Max was in the crease already. He screamed for players to shoot and them *****ed when they did and the shot was blocked.

He was brutal.

They showed the zoom replay with full audio in the postgame, it was a goal. No doubt about it. Whistle goes just as the puck gets to his left goal pad, over the line.

ha, when the Sabres were here against the Caps last time, I had a similar experience with a Caps fan who was much less knowledgeable about hockey. Every time the Sabres had the puck, he'd yell "HIT HIM" and every time the Caps had the puck he'd yell "SHOOT IT!" even if the Caps player was 10 feet inside the blue line with 2 defenders in his face.

The funniest part was when one of the Caps got in on a breakaway and got stuffed by Miller- the same guy who had been yelling "SHOOT IT!" all game yells "You shoulda passed!"

Yea those fans are annoying. I remember at one game some Canadiens who where Leaf fans and sat their and rediculed everything the Sabres did. It really takes a lot out of enjoying the game when they just act like they know it all and are the best thing since slice bread.
