All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

I have not been able to make it to a game the last 2 years but I plan on coming out a few times this year and I want to bring my 8 year old son. I will be the first to admit I was a bit lets say enthusiastic in my youth but times have changed. I still scream myself horse every Sunday but I use a filter a bit now (at least I try, you have seen the Bills the last 8 years).

Anyway, which is the best section to bring a kid?
Thanks for any input.
Rob
The more expensive the ticket the better place it will be for a kid.
Just to be clear I an not looking foe a wiggles concert but just a half notch below insane. My children are not sheltered but I would like to reduce the risk of a well you know I am a dad now.

I do think there is a family section or the 50 yard line would be fine.
There's a block of sections in the corner of the tunnel end that's designated as the "Time Warner Family Zone" or something. Alcohol/profanity free or so I'm told. It's the direct opposite of the Rockpile so you're as far away from the lunatics as humanly possible.
I think it' Sections 225-227 on this map:
Only sat there once in High School with a group of my friends. We were too drunk to cause any trouble.

Yeah I sat in the family section for a lot of the last two years (I can't get a beer anyways so why not get the cheap seats) and its usually pretty under control.
My first game was when I was 7... in the end zone. That was a whole new world. I ate it all up.
But really from what I've seen, if somebody is sitting near a kid they usually tone it down to a reasonable human level. Most of the time.
I concur on the couch idea. The stadium is no place for an 8-year old, no matter how much you want to be the cool dad and take him to a game. I would say wait a few years and take him when he is like 20.
My first game I was ten... during tailgating i saw drunken college guys chucking a football at some guys bare ass that had a bulleye painted on it and he was doing a keg stand... scared me for life. thats when i knew theres no place better than the ralph (rich) whatever
