This is a guy who couldnt beat out Preston, and was a liability everytime he played,
I guess we r satisfied with the bums that contributed nothing to this team last year, Man i hate gettin these txt with him and Murphy,

I guess we can back up Fowler and Butler, but man really no one else out there?

Not mad about it.. Need better depth than Preston and chambers.

But this wasnt the news i was looking for today.

Good, experienced depth in the middle of the line.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Nice re-sign here...cheap depth for the interior positions.

Sometimes being versitile can more than make up for a lack of great phsical talent.

Teams need guys like Whittle because they can only carry 45 players on game day. Whittle can play any of the interior positions plus he is a very valuable special team guy as the article points out.

He fills a need for the efficiency of the roster on game day.
