I like this kid!!! He adjusts to the ball really well and he has deceptive speed. I'd go after him.

He has good hands. He has speed. He has burst. He works the stiff arm. He has awesome balance and field awareness. He catches it traffic. He has good concentration. He can break a tackle. He can catch while being covered good. He has a football attitude. He has a nose for the endzone.

I have no doubt no that he or Kelly is coming to Buffalo.
We're taking a Wr with our first pick, and CB with our second. that's getting pretty obvious

Malcom Kelly might be gone, but I wouldn't mind getting Limas.

2:12 stop-start move on the guy. Amazing.

Also, aren't half of those plays underthrown passes when he gets WAY open and then has to wait on it and catch it in traffic? I don't think he'll work in our offense unless JP is starting............hahaha.

I haven't been endorsing Limas Sweed in a bills uniform on draft day for nothing! This guy is the best receiver in the draft, I don't care what anyone else says. He would add a tremendous precense to our wide out unit. Would be stoked if the chips fell like that.

It looks like he is blowing the doors off the defenders and then has to wait and win a jump ball. He kind of made it look easy.

Sweed in my opinion is the best WR in the draft

I would just love to hear the name Limas Sweed over and over again... it just has a great sound.. and it rolls off the toungue quite nicely

Limas Sweeeed

Of course would't it be just dandy to get Evans extended and have him paired with Sweed for the next 5 years. !!!

i know people here are against a WR at #11 especially if we extend Evans... however that would force opposing D's to back up some and respect our reciever tandem.. then Marshawn with a FB in front of him would rush for 1500 yds easily IMO.

Hi-lite videos are great and everything and he looks like he can do amazing things. It appears that he has more straight line speed than Kelly but it takes him a few extra steps to get revved up. His hands look really good, but Kelly's are even better. Most of those hi-lites were jump balls which is great, but how consistently does he get separation? I also realize a few of those passes were underthrown. I've heard many times that he rounds off his routes and doesn't have good route discipline. Those things can be taught, though. Those jump balls were nice and I like the idea of having a WR that protects his QB by fighting back for those underthrown balls!

This highlight vid kicks the crap out of Kelly's highlight vid, imo.

He has got some talent that is for sure. I would be happy to see him in Buffalo.

Give me Kelly, Sweed, or DRC and I will be thrilled!

Sweed definitely uses his body to shield the defender from him and the ball very well.

That's why I say take Limas Sweed instead of Kelly..

Well, Kelly's vid is pretty impressive too.

Buffalofever, what happened to the bootychick? Oh, and what was her name?

Is it?

With Gholston looking like he may just be there at 11, I grab him immediately. Then I try to trade up to 25 and grab Sweed. Gholston and Sweed.. man what a coup that would be. :hubba: Of course if we sign Johnson, maybe we can just wait with our 2nd and move WR down the priority list.

I really think we have to build the D from the line back. Our starting CBs are solid and our depth is lacking but that's not what you use 1st round picks for. In terms of just the draft, I think this is the priority list (not picks).

1a. WR (No WR to take at 11)
1b. DT (If Gholston is taken, maybe Harvey or trade down. If no trade, I say just go for Sweed)
3. TE
4. CB
5. OL

Here's a Q. Would you rather lose a bit of value and draft Sweed at 11, or risk it and trade back into the 1st and lose at least our 3rd to get him?

I wonder if he can catch a pass that wasnt thrown side-arm?
