    Courtney Anderson contract length

Not sure if it was posted yet, but the deal was for two years. I read somewhere someone had it as a one year deal. It was per KFFL:

    Bills | C. Anderson signed two-year deal
    Mon, 10 Mar 2008 17:43:22 -0700

The Associated Press reports Buffalo Bills TE Courtney Anderson signed a two-year deal with the team Monday, March 10.

The Raiders evidently thought Anderson was better then Johnson as the kept hima year longer then the latter.

Plus I'm betting one of them is better than Bobbles Royal, who I hope is cut. We'll draft another TE in April, so I'm not worried here.

Actually it is even better than that.

In the last year, Anderson has been cut by Oakland, Miami, Detroit and Atlanta. That includes teams that hold 3 of the top 4 picks in the draft and Detroit, who is the worst team this decade.

Since 2004, Johnson has been cut by Miami, Oakland, Arizona and Denver, before sitting out all of 2007.

TE is a huge need, as is WR. The defense got better but Dick must really think Turk is on to something with the lack of moves on offense.

We'll be breaking in some rooks this year at critical positions: #2 wideout and starting tight end. Hope we get some guys who can handle the pressure from day 1.

Those are vet minimum contracts, they are always 2 yr deals, they can be cut at anytime with no cap penalty, these guyz are both scrubs, and will proally be fighting it our for the 3rd TE spot nothing more,
Schouman will be kept as a FB/TE hybrid player and HOPEFULLY our true fb will not be Barnes cause he sucks too, draft Schmitt please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Bills are getting picked apart on Sirius for this signing. I can't disagree with them...it's pretty bad.

So last year our offense was supposed to be awesome but our defense ended up carrying us.

Wouldn't it be weird if this year our defense that is supposed ot be so good ends up sucking and our offense kicks ass?
