I wouldnt break the bank for any of these FA but many of them could win starting jobs for the Bills and others could provide solid Depth....

Michael Boulware S - Big Physical safety with good ball skills

William James CB- Nice size at 6' 200 - could flourish in the cover 2.

Curtis Deloatch CB- Really nice size at 6'2 214 - Another player that may not have been successful in a man - to man scheme but could succeed in a cover 2 system-- still only 26.

Matt Ware CB - Also 6'2 214 and only 25 - Same comment as above.

Jerome McDougle DE, - This guy was very highly regarded coming out of the U and was picked 15th overall. He's 29 but hasnt had much playing time... Maybe a change of scenery and scheme could revive his career.

Bo Schobel DE - Hey why not, we could have bookend Schobels.

Corey Smith DE - Played for the Lions last year, so he has experience in our cover 2 - Managed 2.5 sacks coming off the bench. Same as Kelsay produced!

Josh Thomas - Also played in Indi's cover 2 last year and was given a lot of playing time due to the injuries to Freeney and Mathis... He actually played pretty well... could provide solid depth.

Jeremy Newberry C - I guess the Bills are waiting to draft or sign a C next year after Fowler's contract is up but I would love it if they sign Newberry to a 2 year contract. He is a mauler at 6'5 315 who would vastly improve our interior run game.

Seth McKinney - Im not sure why the Browns let him go, he had a great year for them. I guess they figure Bentley may return and they also signed the younger Rex Hadnot--- Seth is only 28 though...

Others: OG Matt Lehr, OG Chris Naeole (coming off injury but he's a great player) OG Floyd Womack (versatile OL - still only 29)

Rocky Boiman -OLB - Spent time in Indi's cover 2 and did a good job filling in for Freddy Keiaho and Rob Morris.

Rosevelt Colvin OLB - Does anyone know the extent of his injury? He could come in and be a pass rush specialist for us from the DE spot.

Colvin's injury left a pretty big hole in the Pat's defense last season. He must have something scary going on with that foot if the Pat's dumped him and no one else has picked him up.

Couple of interesting OL options, too. I think that the Bills believe they have a pretty good group at OL. I know most of us see room for improvement at Center and Right Guard, but they don't seem to see it that way. Apparently they also feel that our depth is at least as good as what is available in the FA pool.

Still baffled why they haven't brought in Utecht (spelling?) for a look-see.
