They have lost 5 of their last 6 games and we play them twice more. They have to play Ottawa twice, Montreal twice, NJ and the caps. I can see them losing most of those based on how they are playing. Boston's remaining schedule:

you forgot an important part of that equasion: how poorly we've been playing. We had a few OT losses so we're not quite as bad as them, but we've been a slump lately too. I don't know why you think we can break out of it but they can't, especially with all our injuries on D.

Sorry but i don't see it. Washington has a much better shot at catching Boston.

I'm generally an optimist, but given our lack of leadership, inability to finish, sloppiness with the puck in our zone, susceptibility to the forecheck, general lack of intensity, defensive injuries, and complete ineptitude in shootouts, I doubt we even hang on to 9th.

Even those of us that have been positive all year are having a hard time after this recent rutt... Just not enough time to turn it around at this point.

Good to see a positve attitude rear it's head, lol.

There is a fine line between always being positive and being realistic.

I am one of those people who have been overly positive this season in thinking they can make the playoffs and even make some noise once they get there but they have struggled so much lately that it doesn't seem likely. Think about it.

No I actually expect the Sabres to miss the playoffs after seeing them play this season. I did not buy the hockey package on purpose even though I felt we could do well if certain players came around, they didn't. We have alot of people going different directions on every play and trying to get fancy instead of just getting pucks to the net.

When the pucks do make it to the net, we have no one with hands to finish it. It's a formula for disaster and I hope Tom G. sees how bad Darcy & Crew F-ed up in not signing their best players early on. Front office needs to be redone in a big way, toss Darcy out.

I'll try this one more time. Darcy doesn't make the sole decisons on signing and re-signing players. His track record has proven he knows what he is going and should be the GM. There are people above Darcy that make decisions too.

That really makes you seem like a fairweather fan. You won't pay to watch the team play because you don't think they'll be as good as last year? Since I moved I've gotten it both years and gone to every game they've played down here, and as long as it's financially feesible, I'll continue to do so.

Been real busy with my business down here, no time to play xbox / ps3 all night and shoot people in the head or watch many sports this time of year. It's like 80 degrees everyday this time of year and there are buyers everywhere I am trying to stuff into RE, I'll be busy until late may / early june. All summer to late this year it will calm down, even though I hope not.
