If the D-line doesn't get it done, should we go to a 3-4 D ?

I think our LB's are way to thin to go to the 3-4.

No way. If it doesn't work this year, it still might work next year with an improved DL. And the guys who played in it this year would gain valuable experience playing in it all season. This year will be a huge growth year for our defense.

I know we all want to win the Super Bowl this year. But I still think next year and the year after will be better years than this one. THis is not the time to abandon the system just because it may not work right now. I think the D will get better the more they play in the 46.

We would have to try something, Elijah would of thought of something!

Elijah who??? Eli Pitts?? He was the running backs coach. Every screamed when we had the 3-4 that they wanted the 4-3...now we have people who want the 3-4 back...what is it with fans in B-lo?? Can they accept anything?

3-4 is 7 men in the box
4-3 is 7 men in the box

other than the fact you substitute a linebacker for a linemen I really don't see much difference. And don't lecture me about the difference between the two defenses. If you have 7, you have 7...they may play differently but it still should take 7 or 8 OL to block 7. Take out the QB and you leave 2 guys to block four...just get it done.

I'll think we'll be fine with the 4-3
