I think Prioleau will end up backing up Coy Wire. Reese is the best bet to start at this point, but I think it likely a free safety will be drafted who will eventually compete for the starting job, if not this year then next.

I must say it a toss up.Driver showed some promise his rookie year but got injured.From what Im hearing he's like a machine in his rehabbing and comeback so I wanna see what he got before making a judgement..

I think it's gonna go down to the wire but eventually Reese will get the nod. Pierson Prioleau will, as TigerJ said, back up Coy at SS and Driver will back up at FS.

Ive never seen Driver play...is he good at coverages or is he similar to prioleau?(good hitter, poor coverage)

Funny thing is.....no one else has seen him play either...:chuckle:
He's only played special teams here and a little dime. He was a backup at SS in 2001....when he was healthy.

London Fletcher makes big hits, maybe we should move him to FS? IMO..Driver is a SS, one we dont know enough about to give a good judgement just yet.

I like Reese! The thing I like about Reese after seeing him play is I think he has better instincts for the ball than Prioleau, and you just don't teach that.

He's a decent tackler with good instincts, and thats enough of a difference for me!:

I'm not sold on Reese. He had an injury, no? As well, he was never stellar anyway.

We'll see. I don't think that PP is as bad as everyone says. W/o the opposing QB having 25 seconds to get rid of the ball, PP should be fine in coverage. JMO.
