View Full Version : I think we will swap our second round pick with Miami for JP....

It just makes sense that Miami needs a QB with a arm to throw to Ginn and crew and has seen enough of JP to feel he would help them out. This would be a logical way of us moving up to grab a early second round pick WR.

It would also satisfy JP's need to start somewhere, in Miami.

And we don't want to trade players within division.

I would hope not. The first rule of trading within the division is you don't trade within the division.

Yea, look how it bit NE when they traded us bledsoe for our first round pick. Never trade players in the AFCE.

JP is staying here. Get used to it. They've already said there's NO better backup QB out there. And while some may hate him, there really isn't a better one than JP.

JP is worth a lot more than the opportunity to move up 10 spots in the 2nd round.

i think most teams since hershel walker and the bledsoe trades realize that giving up early draft picks is not worth it. you can give up 4 through 7 without issue because those are just lucky shots in the dark. but 1-3 is the real deal. most busts at this level still turn into servicable NFL players.

JP is staying or they'll let him go to just get something out of the deal. my gut still says that we need to get him off this team or the evans/JP back door bickering will start the second we don't win our second game. and posters here who want to make love to JP under the moonlight will prove exactly how contentious it can be when two QB's have supporters to be starting.

I hope he stays in Buffalo.

I like TD agree he's staying here. But for a different reason. The Bills overvalue him in a trade and nobody will give up what they want. Which means he'll sit on the bench here, flounder, and be lucky to find a job next year when his contract is up. Because we sure as hell aren't going to resign him.

The sad part is that JP is probably worth more next year especially if he comes in relief of Trent and has one of his miracle games.

Him staying here benefits him more and us less.
