He played for St. Louis during their championship years & now plays for the Texans. He said that Stroud was lazy on occasion and took some plays off during games but when he was trying he was a force. He also said that Buffalo had a good chance of actually picking up some WR's in this years draft and everyone is impressed with our 3 defensive pick ups. The players around the league follow what other inter-conference teams are doing during the offseason closer than most people think.

I asked him what happened in Houston last season and he said they put 19 people on IR and their whole secondary was gone but like 1. The players we're not thrilled w/ Ahman Green coming in and having tendinitis but would give him a pass for last season. They we're happy with 8-8 and figure to come out better this season. He's been in the league 16 years and said that he's almost done but likes these big paychecks and all the walking around $.

Stroud is still a mystery and the players in the league think Buffalo is moving up. Hopefully perception becomes reality.

I just met him today, I was walking out of the Gym and he was standing by a new range rover. He is cool and obviously had time so we talked cars then football. He had some other choice things to say but I am not going to repeat it. I live in SW FL and the money comes here all the time.

In his prime, I would imagine he could have been a good three technique undertackle.

That is one of the reasons he is familiar with the Bills, that and he's great friends with one of our coaches that coached him when he was a kid.

So you just go up to athlete's that you've never met before; unannounced and unscheduled and start bothering them with questions like you were a writer from the Detroit Free Press?

No wonder athletes treat "normal" people so ****ty overall.

Sounds like it took awhile to fill up his SUV with gas. Did you at least squeegee the windshield, too?
