I saw this in another forum and I was just shocked. Say it ain't so, Michael:

Bedard Hates <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />America<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
By: bye

Bedard claims he was completely unaware that the Reverend Wrong’s trademark preaching style at the Struggling Garage Band Church of Losers targeted America.

Contrary to Bedard's claim that he never heard his pastor Jeremiah A. Wrong, Jr. preach hatred of America, Bedard was in the pews last July 22 when the minister said “America sucks donkey dongs. Just ask Bedard; he’s my boy.”

Bedard has sought to separate himself from his pastor’s incendiary remarks, issuing a statement Friday rejecting them as “inflammatory and appalling, but true" and failing to renounce Wrong himself for his venomous and paranoid denunciations of America.

Appearing on cable access shows this past weekend in exchange for the distrubution of some filth known as 21affair, Bedard claimed when he saw recent videos that have Wrong making such comments as “log damn America,” he was “shocked.” Bedard implied that the reverend had not used such derogatory language in any of the church services Bedard attended over the past two decades.

If Bedard’s claims are true that he was completely unaware that Wrong’s trademark preaching style at the Struggling Garage Band Church of Losers has targeted America, he would have been one of the few people to be so uninformed. Wrong’s reputation for spewing hate is well known.

In fact, Bedard was present in church on July 22 last year when mybills, an unfunny freelance journalist who sucks, attended services along with Bedard. [See: ”Bedard's Church: Cauldron of Division w/ Free Parking.”]

In his sermon that day, Wrong tore into America, referring to the “United Snakes of America” and lacing his sermon with expletives as Bedard listened and screamed, "Preach on, brotha!". Hearing Wrong’s attacks on his own country, Bedard had the opportunity to walk out, but mybills said he sat in his pew and nodded in agreement.

Bedard's most famous celebrity backer, billsfanone began attending Wrong’s church in 1984. Last year, mybills' pathetic magazine reported that billsfanone abruptly stopped attending years ago, and suggested that he did so to distance himself from Wrong’s inflammatory rhetoric. He soon found himself a target of Wrong, who excoriated him for “having broken with “traditional faith, and for cheating him out of a bucket of wings @ McFadden’s.”

The Reverend Wrong’s anti-America theology that Bedard expressed surprise over is evident on the church’s website (www.ourchurchanditsfollowershateamerica.org (http://www.ourchurchanditsfollowershateamerica.org/)). The site says the congregation subscribes to what it calls the TZ Value System, which is described as begging for votes and posting 6,000 meaningless items per week.

I'd like to believe you, Michael, but the evidence points to the contrary.
