Go ahead and start bashing this idea... but he needs a home and we need a backup qb. He's a heck of a lot better than Nall, JP, and any other FA qb's out there. I'm still nostalgic for the old culpepper to moss days. So if trent goes down to injury, at least we have someone that can throw it deep. and anyone can hand the ball off to beast mode

Re: I Want Culpepper
Is Culpepper, right now, better than JP? I don't know about that. But he wants to start, he's not going to come here knowing he doesn't have a chance to start. You have to have 2 startable quarterbacks, we'll see what we do with JP, but I think he's here until next offseason...

Re: I Want Culpepper
I don't think that starting thing would be a huge issue. I mean he knows that he won't be starting anywhere to start the season but at the same time in buffalo one injury or a slow start to the season by trent and he knows that everyone in western ny will be calling for number 8

Re: I Want Culpepper
I don't want Culpepper.
We need to keep JP as an insurance policy. And for the record, I would let JP and Trent battle it out in camp so when JP loses out, he won't be as big as a cancer in the locker room he gets beat out legitamately instead of someone handing the job to another QB.

Re: I Want Culpepper
I dont think Culpepper is the right move, i think he can still play in this league but i dont think he would be the right fit to mentor TE, he is not the best locker room guy either cause he had problems in Minn and Maimi,
I say Pass bring in a prospect, and a couple UDFAs we still got Hamdon on the rosterXTRA CRISPY XTRA SAUCEY

With Moss, all you had to do was throw it deep and the guy would pull it down.
I'd rather have JP.
Got ya!
People can rip on Culpepper all they want, fact of the matter is he was a top young rising QB in this league until he shredded his knee. The injury timetable is roughly two years, he tried to come back sooner and we all saw the results.
He should be closing in on being fully healthy and if he does become fully healthy, some team is gonna get a steal.
