    Chris Carr visiting tomorrow

Apparently we aren't done trying to solidify our DB situation. Chris Carr is expected to visit OBD tomorrow according to a very good source on another board.

He is only 24 and would seem to be a decent special teams addition.

actually you are right, that guy is VERY reliable. Interesting move by the Bills too....maybe they are planning on McGee being a sole CB this year?

Had a 100 yd kick return for a TD. Tackling numbers are good. Never missed a game. Maybe a fight with Youboty. This would be a nice Deffense.

I think their looking for someone to compete with Greer in the slot... Carr would be a good addition and someone that is quick enough and shifty enough to hang with Welker in the slot.

So...does this make Youboty soon dispencible?

Or does this just mean that we won't draft a CB at all?

We all know how little confidence the coaches have in Youboty...

I think they have confidence in Youboty but they cant afford to take any chances... I really think they are just making sure that they have a good slot corner because a lot of teams are using slot receivers more and more,,, Carr can also take McGee of KR duty.

i dont know why you guys think greer is not goin got be a starter.

james and carr are both back ups that will be fighting with youboty to make the roster on top of any other cb we may draft.

greer is not giving up that job to a cb that is not a starter.. and james and carr are not starters.

                            FYI...

Carr is a Restricted FA who was tendered at the low level. Since he was undrafted, he would require no compensation to sign away. However, Oakland has Right-of-First-Refusal and would have a week to decide if they wanted to match any offer sheet, were Carr to sign one.

We'll probably wait to sign him to a modest offer sheet right after the trade with Hall goes through, forcing them to decide if they want to dedicate 20+ mil in cap space to three corners (10+ for Hall, 9+ for Asomugha and probably 2.25 or so for Carr)

                              Good fit.
