~The PC Times - Sunday, March 23, 2008.

In the spirit of the Easter Holiday, I would like to focus on the death and resurrection of the three remaining candidates. This will be on the personal side, as one of these candidates will be representing me as a zoner. As you know by now, none of them can receive my vote so I have to rely on my co-zoners to make the choice for me.

I'll begin with L.A. Playa. When I read his long winded debate answers, followed by his Chief of Staff's long winded statement, I couldn't decide whether to fall asleep or just scroll down to read the responses. However, I did continue to read the rest, and both just came across to 'me' as fake, manikin like, you know, stiff like a dead person. Although, my respect for Playa is enormous when it comes to communicating like a grown up. Some zoners act like big babies, and he seems to have a knack for short meaningful posts, too. I'm not sure if anyone else felt like that while reading their debate and statement, but the poll results certainly had a life of their own.

Next up is MBBedard. I'm forever coming to the zone looking for a laugh, but I personally saw his campaign dying when one of his staff members got out of control. I wasn't alone, as the complaints started to come into my pm box. While this candidate can provide laughter, I've sometimes disagree with his opinion about certain Bills players. Not just our ape looking QB, or Bledsoe, but others as well. However, I really enjoy watching football with him, even though it's through humorous text messaging. This could add LIFE to the front page because I share the same concern as this unaffiliated zoner...

the main candidates are all lacking in presence in the main forum.
I also believe his campaign revived itself when the staffer calmed down, and the candidate talked more, and it definitely showed in the polls.

Lastly, there is Gunzlingr. I called it early on when I named him the "unelectable one". As a long time zoner myself, I knew his not wanting the prize of moderator would not go over too well with the voters. Who would want a President that didn't want all of the power? I believe his support for the most part, died right there. On the other hand, and also as a long time zoner, his stating that goes much deeper. In a way, he goes right to the heart of the problem that I have with moderating in general. I've been given UNFAIR warning points in the past, for defending myself against a stupid attack from someone who couldn't handle my opinion. My defense post was removed, but the attack post stayed. Gunzlingr is suggesting that by staying behind the glass and observing just who's doing the attacking, he becomes a fair and balanced voice of the zoners, without the heavy fat finger that sometimes too quickly presses the warning point button. I don't know about you, but that makes me feel alive just knowing that!

So fellow zoners, please keep all of my views in mind when you vote for OUR zone President. Thank you in advance, and have a Very Happy Easter, from

When do the real scandals begin?

PC stands for Politically Correct.
If you really want scandals, why don't you open a paper of your own? :D

I'm not interested in competing for viewership numbers.

That's too bad. They were my second choice.

I disagree with this opinion...
That his humor could bring life to it, or that all of the candidates are lacking presence in there?
