Rookie RB Marshawn Lynch was the bright spot in what was otherwise a disappointing Bills offense. Lynch's numbers (1,115 rushing yards, seven touchdowns) would have been higher had he not missed three games with an ankle injury mid-season. The second-year RB out of California looks to be the primary cog in Buffalo's offense for years to come, proving to be an able pass-catcher (18 receptions, 184 yards) out of the backfield as well. RB Dwayne Wright, the Bills' fourth round selection, didn't see much action in 15 games, totaling 94 yards on 29 carries, but the Bills will look for more production in Wright's second year to help Fred Jackson compliment Lynch.

QB Trent Edwards endured an up and down rookie season, showing promise while replacing injured starter J.P. Losman in Week 3, only to miss four games mid-season with a wrist injury. Edwards came back to start the Bills' final five games and his seven touchdowns, eight interceptions and 1,630 yards on the season were enough to convince the Bills that he should be their starter going forward into 2008.

The Bills had high hopes for Penn State product Paul Posluszny entering 2007, until the 6-1, 238-pound LB went on IR with a forearm injury after Week 3. With the hard-working Posluszny fully recovered, the Bills expect him to give their defense a boost and compete for a starting ILB spot in 2008.

I just hope whatever receiver we take, he can has a performance similar to what Lynch did in his rookie campaign.
