honestly, our remaining schedule is brutal. We need to win out to even get in. If we dig deep enough and work hard enough to win out right now I'm very much on board with us being a serious cup contender. Don't see it happening though.

Nahh.. whose to say the caps and bruins dont **** the bed? I think we can get in with 9 of a possible 14 points. I still have a tiny bit of faith... this team has too much potential to not make a run.

Really though, we need some leadership.
We need some proven veteran d-men and a quality backup goaltender that we can ****ing rely on!

If Boston and the Craps lose tonight including a big Sabres victory, things around here might be quite different. Especially if Miller makes 50 saves in a shutout :snicker:

I updated the standings.

The way I see it, Sabres would have win out and have either Boston or Philly lose out along with the Caps slipping up somewhere along the line (which doesn't seem likely).

Either way, it's on Buffalo. Lose and they are out officially.

If the Sabres don't win tonight they will be eliminated from playoff contention.
