Losman at workouts

It seems like he may be adjusting to the role as a backup. I am actually slightly surprised that he is there but who knows. if he turns out to be a team player and not a divisive locker room guy it could be a good thing.

I'm all for competition. It'll push each player to be better. If either of them get better, it makes the team better.

I also think it should be a competition.... If more talent is added to the offense through the draft at WR and TE then I think both QBs should get a shot at the starting job. For the first time in his career JP will have a solid supporting cast around him and Trent will have the same....

May the best QB win...

If Dick is as smart as they say he is, he will do whats best for the team. He has this year to save this job.

If in fact there is real competition it means we are doomed because it means TE blows. We already know JP does.

... but it doesn't make some posters any better.

If JP still has anything left to prove in this league, it starts with proving he's a better QB then Edwards. I'm glad he might be realizing this.

True, I guess it depends on your definition of competition. If you mean that they are both pushing each other to do the best each can do...sure I agree with that.

But if you mean that the QB spot is undecided and they are both competing for it...I think the Bills coaches have been clear that Trent is the starter.

Trent has the lead right now but his job isn't safe.

When has JP ever been a me guy. He has vented a tad but he has NEVER been any type of cancer, and has been a big time team player.

Sure he asked to be traded since he was demoted to a backup... but anyone would. Who the hell wants to strive to be a backup. Yt he still shows up for voluntaries...

people who get down on JP are dumbasses at the highest level of dumbassdum. But we've seen this level of dumbassdum before from Bills fans.

I expect JP to try his best to win back the starting position, and he'll try to win it back the old fahion way.. he'll bust his ass.

now before this spirals into a JP vs:Tent debate I'm fully on board with Trent being named the starter going into camp... However I look forward to seeing what JP can do with the new OC and new weapons in the preseason.

So i fully expect a full, all out, QB ***** fest this summmer on all the Bills forums which is unfortunate, but I don't see it being avoided. Hopefully the team can deal with the BS that will get spewed from those with personal favorites.
