With Matt Ryan gone and the defense still very solid Baltimore goes for a surprise pick and takes WR Devin Thomas given his injury free history and high ceiling

I think they badly need a good corner, hence my choice.

Makes sense and I dont disagree with the need but I think they need a WR a lot more especially one who can become a top WR with time

They've neglected offense for years, why change now?

As a Jets fan, Im all for McFadden for the simple fact this Jets offense has lacked that big time playmaker since Curtis Martin and an explosive runningback like McFadden could help out our young QB in Kellen Clemens in the same type of way that Marshawn Lynch helped out Trent Edwards
With all that said, if the Jets were to draft Vernon Gholston, I would be pumped up for this Defense for the simple fact Gholston has the talent, speed, quickness, strength and toughness to be a D.Ware/S.Merriman type of OLB for this Jets 3-4 Defense.
We already have 2 amazing playmakers in the secondary in Darrell Revis and Kerry Rhodes. Last year as a rookie, Darrell Revis showed the league that he was by far the best rookie CB drafted.
We also drafted a beast in David Harris as our 3-4 IMLB. Harris only started 9 games, had over 100 tackles and 5 sacks, Vilma who? Honestly... If David Harris would have started all 16 games, he would have led the NFL in tackles, hands down. If we were to draft Gholston, we would have Gholston and Pace from the outside with Harris in the middle for years to come.
Plus, we added Kris Jenkins for out 3-4 NT. Gholston would help this defense out alot, great mock draft so far
