All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Roy Williams also said he wouldn't mind being a Lion for life. Take it all for what it's worth, but I'd take Lee Evans over this guy any day of the week.
I'm calling bull**** here. Roy Williams is a much better receiver than Lee Evans. He's also the big threat this team is sorely lacking. If we couldn't sign Lee to a new deal, I'd love to trade him for Roy Williams.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Fixed!
The Mexican & too!!
- Adriano & Emiliano, the next Villa & Zapata. Viva Mexico, cabrones!!! -
CB is a bit of joke. Williams is 10x the player Evans is and Evans isn't exactly a team player. It was pretty obvious that he didn't sell out on all of the throws Trent made to him and that was direct result of him being pissed that his boy JP was not in there.
ROY WILLIAMS ON TRADE TALK: The Detroit Free Press has a good write up on the Roy Williams trade rumors, which at this point appear to be just that. They got to the point where head coach Rod Marinelli called Williams to tell him it was a bunch of hooey. But Williams has some interesting comments, one of which was that he never studied his opponent all that much, but plans to now that he's a veteran in the receiving corps. He's also committing himself to get in better shape. He claims it's not because he's in the last year of his contract, but I'm not buying it. 12. Roy WilliamsDetroit Lions
He is a little more talkative than we would like, but he plays the game with passion. He plays hard whether his team is winning or losing. Williams has matured as a route runner and is willing to go inside to do the dirty work. Expect a huge 2008 with free agency looming at the end of the season.
Buffalo Bills
He is a speed receiver who has really never been able to hit his full potential, but that has to do more with his offensive system than him. It is hard to move Evans up this list because his numbers don't merit it, but we wonder how good he could be if he had a legit starting quarterback getting him the ball. His speed makes him one of the more feared vertical threats in the NFL.
51. Roscoe ParrishBuffalo Bills
Parrish has been a versatile player for the Bills. He is a No. 3 receiver who is best in the slot and using his quickness and run-after-catch ability in space. His biggest contribution, however, may come on special teams handling punts and kickoffs.

Dumb question, is that the REAL Chris Brown?
BTW, Roy Williams is a top 5 WR in this league, Lee Evans isnt in the top 10 most likely.
What's maddening about Roy Williams is that after every catch, he goes into a 30 second dance routine to watch himself on Sportscenter and is exhausted for the next 3 plays.
He may have top shelf talent but my 7 year old is more mature.
Detroit doesn't want him, after watching Charles Rodgers and Mike Williams bomb ?
That's right. Sit down and think for a second.
