All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

Since we landed new compensatory picks, heres my newest mock:
1) Malcolm Kelly
2) Dustin Keller
3) Brandon Flowers
4) Jerome Simpson
4) Owen Schmitt
5) Gary Guyton
6) Trevor Scott- DE Buff
7) Kerry Brown- G App St.
7) Matt Spanos- C USC
7) Andy Studebaker- LB Wheaton
I feel that the Bills will not take a WR with the 11th pick. It's to much of a reach and it's a position we can easily trade back into the late first round / early second and get. I think the Bills take Harvey first and a WR late in the first round / early second.
Kelly in the snow? I will pass...the rest of it would help this team.

Yah, I thought that was Earthquake Enyart's nickname..
Anyways, I'd rather we take Harvey with the 1st pick. Also, if Schonert's offense is anything like Fairchild's, TE will not be as big of a need as some of you are thinking it will be.. I expect more use of the TE but still more 3 WR sets than anything else.

Did you know of the top 50 center prospects in the draft (and only the top 10-12 will be drafted) Matt Spanos has the worst 40 time? Granted, centers don't generally have to run 40 yards on a given play, but that's still a huge red flag for me. If your center can't move, it limits the things that you can do with him, and it makes him more vulnerable to very quick defensive tackles. Add to that the fact that Spanos was academically ineligible in 2006. Since centers to have to make blocking calls for the entire offensive line, the center does need to be pretty smart. I don't think I'd pick Spanos even in the seventh round.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.
I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.
