We're hearing that new Cowboys coach Bill Parcells deliberately is going easy on the players in offseason drills and so-called "Organized Team Activity."
According to a league source, Parcells studied the team's injury logs from the past few seasons, and he concluded that the players have been getting too banged up in pre-training camp workouts.
As a result, Parcells will limit the team's on-field work before camp opens, in order to ensure that the players will be healthy when the real preparations for the 2003 season begin.
Then, presumably, the Tuna will beat the hell out of them.
