Being a graphic designer myself...I like the new logo, it's more modern...but still stickin with the main design though. Not much you can do to make it look cooler while staying consistent with the old logos.

I read into as the 8 stars represents all the years the NFL has let NE cheat and screw the Bills.

It needed updating, the old 28 stars (represtening the 28 nfl clubs) in 1980 is outdated, its like saluting a flag with 48 stars.

I didn't read that far into it, but the Patriots DID come to mind..look at the football, it's as lame as their logo.

The old one is much better, and all they had to do was make the colors more saturated/vibrant.
