The Associated Press reports that Bowman was arrested Tuesday night and released on $500 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court Thursday. This is the second marijuana-related incident for Bowman, who transferred to Oklahoma State after North Carolina dismissed him as a result of a citation for marijuana possession. In 24 games at Oklahoma State, Bowman finished fourth in school history with 127 receptions and 2,187 yards. Bowman is a good athlete who has all the physical tools to play receiver in the NFL, but this incident will cost him. Link - ( New Window )

    "Bowman was driving a car northbound on Interstate 75 when he was pulled over at 8 p.m. for travelling 80 mph in a 70 mph zone, the sheriff's office report stated.
    "I observed the driver throw a small bag out of his window," said arresting officer Justin Hester in the report. "I asked him (Bowman) if that was marijuana he threw out of the window and he said, 'Yes it was.'"
    The amount of marijuana was estimated at 2.3 grams.
    Bowman is expected to be drafted in the fourth round or earlier of the NFL draft on April 26 after a stellar career at Oklahoma State."

      Not very smart....both taking the chance in the first place and then throwing it out the window instead of stashing it under the passenger seat or something.

          If there was ever a chance Buffalo would draft him as a second WR in this draft, it went out the window with that bag of weed.

                Not that he was going to be a WR in the NFL anyway. I'd be surprised if he even gets drafted, all for some stupid ass drugs.

                      He probably wasn't on the Bills board anyhow, after his terrible post season. Cradles most every ball thrown to him, causing multiple drops.
