As per the NFL Network.

Only one home game, but we knew that because of the game in Toronto!

Plus we play in the American Bowl in Japan, which includes a 2-day scrimmage against the Yagasoki Slant Patterns of the Japanese Football league. I guess they’re trying to promote football in Japan but come on. What if someone gets hurt in this stupid Scrimmage?

What are they doing to us?

I don't remember a year when we didn't play the Lions in preseason. I don't think I'll even come up for that one. It's a long drive for a crappy, meaningless game.

It wasn't that tough. We always play Detroit in the pre-season, and we always finish on the Thurs. Often we play Det in the last game. So I just played the odds.

I did notice that we played them a lot in the preseason but didn't think it was an anual thing.

That Detroit game will probably be Kids Day anyway. The kids will be happy just to see the Bills playing.

And yes, the Bills, for the past umpteen years, have always played the Lions on Week 4 of the preseason. I think it may be on Ralph's arrangement, since Ralph lives in Detroit.

I think the Detroit game at the end of the preseason is just a geographical convienence, since Buffalo and Detroit are so close to each other.

They're working on it. They usually release it in mid-April, but they never actually announce a set date (why, I have no idea).

They have the matchups, now they have to sort them out. If you ask me, they should be putting these things into a computer and letting that handle the week by week scheduling, then the league can pick out the prime time and feature matchups manually. Let's get with the 21st Century, people!

So I've got as many Bills games as you guys?

This gives me an excuse to get drunk at Lucas. Meaningless, but I'll probably drive up for two at the Ralph, so a 15 minute drive into town is no big deal to see Stroud, Mitchell, and some draftees...but mostly draftees.
